Real Estate
CMW works closely with the City’s premiere real estate firms. Our professionals specialize in highly regulated processes such as the Uniform Land Use Review Procedure (ULURP), Board of Standards and Appeals (BSA) and Landmarks Preservation Commission (LPC) and are deeply connected to key stakeholders.
Contractors, owners and managers often encounter unusual situations during construction and building management. We are able to assist our clients with the “out of the ordinary” during and after the construction process with the Departments of Buildings, Transportation, and Environmental Protection.
We are also able to assist our clients in building coalitions of supporters, from local neighborhood associations to citywide advocacy organizations, and leverage our relationships to grow this support throughout the lengthy public review processes that residential and commercial projects often have to go through. Our extensive relationships with city agencies, including the Department of City Planning (DCP) and Housing Preservation & Development (HPD), as well as elected officials help streamline the process of complex project proposals.
We have also successfully guided non-profit organizations pursuing real estate expansion projects both by securing city and state funding and helping coordinate construction projects with relevant city and state agencies.
Our success throughout the years is the reason that a growing number of developers look to CMW to introduce, launch, and elevate their work in New York City and New York State.
