Energy & Environmental
CMW is at the table with environmental leadership throughout the City and State, advocating on key policies that advance sustainability efforts and fight climate change. CMW has made critical connections between environmental leaders and government stakeholders that will have a lasting impact on the future of our State.
CMW led a major effort on behalf of our long time client Ameresco to become the developer of several solar photovoltaic (PV) projects. These projects are a part of the City’s ambitious clean energy goals and doubling of the City’s solar capacity in less than three years.
President and CEO, Michael Woloz, is the Chair of the New York League of Conservation Voters, NYC Chapter and a New York State Board member.
CMW Strategies has worked across the state on issues advancing environmental goals including being instrumental in building support among influential organizations and individuals on Long Island for the Middle Island Solar Farm that has helped to take their renewable energy project to the next level.
CMW has also supported clients in the nonprofit sector on their sustainability efforts. One example has been securing funding for the Riverside Park Conservancy from the Manhattan Borough President to support compost education and community training.
