John Sanchez, Vice President, has more than a decade of government experience, having previously served as Executive Director of 5 Borough Housing Movement, District Manager of Bronx Community Board 6, and Deputy Chief of Staff in the NYS Assembly. He joined CMW in February of 2024 and supports real estate clients with zoning matters before NYC as well as non- profit clients. Prior to joining CMW, he led advocacy efforts to change NY State housing laws as well as efforts to bring city funding to the Bronx Community Board 6 area. He also serves on the non-profit boards of Bronx House, Legacy College Prep Charter School, and Housing Rights Initiative. John is a graduate of New York University’s Stern School of Business with a Bachelor’s degree in Management and Organizational Behavior.
